Tips on Keeping a Healthy Head of Hair

So many people do creative things with their hair that may actually lead to hair loss down the road. Here are some tips that will help you to keep the healthy head of hair you were born with on your head for the rest of the life:

· Avoid colouring your hair. Colouring your hair is actually something that strips the natural oils from your hair leading to thinning of the hair. If you could try to avoid colouring your hair, or if you must, using gentle products such as henna, this would really help.
· Cutting your hair in fashionable designs that are chic for the moment, however may stunt some of your hair growth should be avoided. Overall, if you just leave your hair alone and keep your hairstyles pretty practical, this may not be the most artistic thing, however it does help with hair growth.
· Avoid using chemical treatments on the hair. If you could try to make sure that you avoid using chemical products on your hair to alter its original state, you will find you have healthier hair that does not thin
· Avoid abusing flat irons, curling irons and hot rollers. Applying too much heat to hair can also be quite damaging
· Watch out for gels that are damaging for your hair. If you go with moisturizing products if you have dry hair, or products that are clean and pure if you have oily hair, this will also help to maintain the health of your hair
· Try not to pull your hair into styles that are stressful for your scalp. This will help to improve the health of your hair.
· Try to keep going to the same hairdresser. Once a hairdresser knows your hair, they will tend to do a better job than flip-flopping between different stylists.

These are just some tips that will help you to keep healthy hair. In general, the main message here is that if you just leave your hair alone as many people with the most beautiful hair do – you will find that you have healthier hair.
